This is the service most customers mean when they ring. It is the ordinary contents of a laundry basket: shirts and blouses, trousers and jeans, skirts and dresses, school uniform, work polos, jumpers and casual tops. Each garment counts as one item, whatever its size.
Everything is pressed by hand at a proper board, to the temperature on the care label rather than a single setting for the whole load. Cotton shirts get a hot iron and a firm hand; viscose and polyester blends get a cooler one and more steam. Collars, cuffs and plackets are done separately, because those are the parts people notice when a shirt has been rushed.
As each item is finished it is folded straight away rather than dropped into a pile, so it does not sit creasing while the rest of the load is done. The finished order is kept flat and dry for the journey, which matters more than people expect on a wet West Yorkshire morning.
Everything must arrive clean and completely dry. This is an ironing service, not a laundry — keeping to pressing alone is what makes the 24-hour turnaround and the pricing possible.

These take two or three times the board time of a shirt, so they are counted accordingly rather than quietly slowing everyone else’s order down.
Not accepted
- Leather and suede
- Heavily beaded or sequinned garments
- Items with damaged or unstable seams
- Anything arriving damp or unwashed
Anything unsuitable is set aside untouched, returned with the order, and never charged for.
Do not spend your evening counting. Everything is counted here at the board, and you get a call with the price and a delivery time once your ironing is done.
