Where we collect

16 areas, all collected free

From the Methley home patch out through Castleford, Kippax and Rothwell to Wakefield, Ossett and Pontefract. If your town is on this list, collection and delivery cost you nothing.

Methley

LS26

Home patch. Methley, Mickletown and Methley Lanes are on the doorstep, which makes these the easiest collection times of all to arrange.

Allerton Bywater

WF10

Allerton Bywater and Great Preston, a couple of minutes from base and collected on any day of the week.

Castleford

WF10

Castleford town centre, Glasshoughton and Airedale. Household bundles and workwear are both collected here.

Kippax

LS25

Kippax and Ledston, on the Leeds side of the patch and covered on exactly the same terms.

Swillington

LS26

Swillington and Swillington Common, comfortably inside the radius and booked for whichever day suits you.

Woodlesford

LS26

Woodlesford and Oulton, a short run from base, so these are often the quickest postcodes for a next-day turnaround.

Rothwell

LS26

Rothwell town centre and Carlton, at the northern end of the patch and collected just the same.

Normanton & Altofts

WF6

Larger household and bedding bundles are especially welcome here, and collection stays free whatever the size.

Stanley & Lofthouse

WF1, WF3

Stanley, Lofthouse and Robin Hood, with the collection time agreed to suit you when you book.

Wakefield

WF1, WF2

The city centre, Agbrigg, Belle Vue, Thornes and Lupset. The busiest part of the patch, and usually bookable at short notice.

Outwood & Wrenthorpe

WF1, WF2

Collections across Outwood and Wrenthorpe, including a number of local salons and small businesses on our workwear plan.

Pontefract

WF7, WF8

Pontefract and Featherstone, at the eastern edge of the patch, with the same 24-hour turnaround as the rest.

Sandal & Walton

WF2

Sandal, Kettlethorpe and Walton, popular with families and shift workers juggling awkward hours.

Horbury

WF4

Horbury and Horbury Bridge, at the western end of the patch, collected free like everywhere else on the list.

Ossett

WF5

Ossett and Gawthorpe, collected alongside neighbouring Alverthorpe and Flanshaw.

Crigglestone & Durkar

WF4

Crigglestone, Durkar and Newmillerdam, all with the same free collection and delivery as everywhere else.

Collections run seven days a week and are booked to suit you rather than tied to a set weekly day, so say which morning or afternoon works best and it will be confirmed before the car sets off.

Just outside?

The radius is a guide, not a wall

Five miles around the towns on the list is where free collection is guaranteed. Plenty of customers sit a little beyond it and are collected anyway, because the car was passing.

  • A mile or two outAlmost always workable alongside an existing collection, at no extra cost.
  • Further out, but regularWeekly household or business volumes can justify extending the patch. Worth a conversation.
  • Well outside, one-offHonestly, probably not — and you will be told that rather than strung along.

Coverage questions

Postcodes, boundaries and edge cases

Not usually. The radius describes where free collection is guaranteed, not a barrier. If your postcode sits a mile or two beyond it, ring anyway: it can often be fitted in when the car is already heading that way, still at no extra cost.
