Collected today, back tomorrow — at the normal price
Plenty of services charge a premium to jump the queue. Here, next-day is simply how it works. Book a morning collection, any day of the week, and your ironing is back at your door within twenty-four hours.
24
Hours
Standard on any order collected before 10am, seven days a week. No express fee, no priority tier, no small print.
How the twenty-four hours actually run
There is no mystery to it. This is the same routine every single day, which is exactly why the timing holds up.
Before 10:00am
Collection
Your bag is picked up on the morning round. This is the cut-off that makes next-day possible — after it, the order joins the following day's board.
10:00am – 5:00pm
On the board
Counted, sorted by fabric, and pressed the same afternoon. Anything needing a cooler iron is grouped so nothing waits behind a hot load.
5:00pm – 6:00pm
Checked and bagged
The finished order is checked against its count, folded and loaded into the car ready for the morning round.
From 9:00am
Back at your door
Delivered on the next morning round, usually within an hour of the time it was collected the previous day.

The four calls that come in most often
Nobody plans to need ironing urgently. These are the situations that come up week after week.
An interview appeared out of nowhere
The suit that has been folded in a case for a fortnight goes out in the morning and is back, sharp, before the evening.
Travelling at short notice
A week of shirts pressed and covered the day before you fly, so nothing arrives at the other end looking slept in.
A family event has crept up
Christenings, funerals and last-minute weddings rarely give much notice. Formal pieces can usually be fitted into the next-day round.
The uniform situation is critical
One clean polo left and a five-day week ahead. A next-day turnaround resets the cycle without anyone missing a shift.
When 24 hours is not possible
Better to say so here than on the doorstep.
- Orders collected after the 10am cut-off move to the following day.
- Bank holidays run on reduced hours, so allow an extra day either side of one.
- Very large orders — roughly sixty items or more — may need an extra day.
- December and the fortnight before Christmas run on extended timings.
- Occasion and delicate garments are deliberately not rushed; those are booked to your event date instead.
In every one of these cases you are told the realistic date when you book. The turnaround promise is only worth anything if it is honest about its own edges.
“I had an interview at short notice and my only decent suit had been folded in a case for a fortnight. Chris collected it at nine and had it back by early evening, looking sharper than when I bought it. I got the job as well.”
Timing, cut-offs and what happens if something slips
What the 24 hours applies to
Next-day turnaround covers every clothing service. Bedding runs to 24–48 hours, and occasion wear is booked to your event date instead.
